I was challenged yesterday to make and pray over a list of things that I am thankful for.
I suspect that when you partake of this goodness, God will transform your hearts in mighty ways as He has done with mine.
What are you thankful for?

No, I don't still have a mustache...although I tried it out for at least an hour or so, then very quickly removed it.

Boy east texas is wet!  Chandler is currently a town with a long street and a lake surrounding it....that's all.  Every parking lot, every field...a lake.

The jeep is dirty though... I've been through the mud and rain to pull out 3 unsuspecting drivers who lost control of their 2-wheel drive vehicles so far....we'll see how the total progresses in the next few days.

Last Night:

The Towers pond brimmed over and flooded the antiquated dining hall.   The Timbers pond surpassed two land bridges and flooded the current construction projects on the south side and also made 2 houses quite wet on the north side.  The Woods pond overflowed and transformed the current zip line into a water slide.  My driveway is very fun to drive on.  Lake Palestine is very close to a normal water level again. And oh yeah, the city of Chandler is now Lake Neches River.

It's amazing how long the time period was when we were in a "drought" and how quickly God made it go away.

I miss you guys.  It sure would be fun to go fishing in ol' S.S. LOMAS.

Alright Ethan, I'm catching up to you in writing on the crazy internet thing.  You better get on it brotha!

Yay for Corrin Conway moving to tyler.  We hung out last night with her roommates, also former ETBUer's Autumn Clark and Jessica Hall, and non-roommated but also current Tyler resident Kristen Wilson.  But Kristen is going to leave anytime now to go to Greece for an extended period of time.

Today, I am going to start learning how to do camp videos for our groups.  Not really excited about this, a little nervous, but we'll see how it goes.  Next week, I go recruiting to various different schools for 2 weeks to look for staff to hire for the summer.

Alright, gotta go, catch ya later!!

YAY, I think I just did a post

Well, I finally figured it out, or took the time to do so.  Here are a couple of pictures of recent things.  The first two are of the last time I went mudding.  The jeep looks fun.  And the other is of Jeff, Paul, and I as we're teaching one of our falconry classes.  The birds are Jasmine (barbary falcon), she's the smaller one, and Turbin (saker falcon).

Hope you enjoy.  I'll try to put some more up of family and stuff when they come along, or when I get bored enough.  Love you guys.
